"Overall I enjoyed my stay at Makarem. It was very close to the Haram, took us approximately 5 minutes to walk and it was all flat no hills to walk up and down. "Very clean beds and everything is modern the only 2 negatives is that the bathroom doesn’t have ventilation so it would smell and stay foggy and the shuttle bus isn’t the best but it works"

Would not recommend
"Not as advertised, the carpets were dirty and I did not even want to place my prayer mat on. Not well maintained and building needs a upgrade. We were given the wrong room on arrival. The only good thing was the friendly staff. Would not recommend."
