Its an old wooden lodge but seems to be maintained. The staff were friendly and polite. If you arrive late, be warned that their kitchen closes at 9:30pm. But there are places around where you can go to, to grab a bite to eat.

it was ok.

Cons: The hot water was not hot enough. And it says they have wifi but not in the room that we stayed.
It was clean, but the hot water was not hot enough. No wifi in our room.

Proximity to city center & various attractions

Posted 23 Dec 2016
Pros: Location, available parking space
Cons: It would be nice not to see cobwebs attached to fixtures in the bedroom :)
My family and I had a good experience staying at Mt.Lodge Hotel. The beds were comfortable. The room did not have the "dusty" smell. The linen smelled fresh. I would say that at the end of the day, we were able to rest well in our room.

Charming, quaint B&B in a busy mountain city

Posted 6 Dec 2016 on CheapTickets
Pros: Architecture, landscaping, beautiful old structures in an overcrowded city where buildings don't allow for space to breathe and enjoy the greenery
Cons: more shelf space and a way to keep the room aired
Location: Close to Pink Sisters, Mansion House,Botanical Garden, Victory Liner, SM.....large bay windows allow you a view of the pine trees of Teacher's Camp
I grew up in Baguio City and often took long walks that took me past Mountain Lodge. I was always attracted to the architecture and the landscaping so when it came time for a short visit to the city, I chose to stay here. One great favor they did to me and my daughter was allow us to check in at 7 am even if their stated check in time is 2 pm. After a 16 hour plane trip and an additional 6 hour bus ride on a freezing Victory Liner bus from Pasay to Baguio (after being harassed by taxi hustlers at the Manila International Airport about riding in their taxi)---that early check in was a HUGE favor I will always remember. I reserved a room for three but was told at check in that the bathroom was shared. For a higher fee, we got a room with our own bathroom. This was located on the ground floor so footsteps (both human and animal) can be heard when in the room. At night, some creature scampered excitedly overhead----at first it seemed like it was a small dog running across the hall upstairs. Later, I realized the creature seemed to be running between floors. Breakfast was delicious, but quality was not consistent. One morning, the eggs served were cold. However, the overall experience was positive. This is an old, charming bed and breakfast in a city that has gotten too crowded and has lost its charm for the most part. Mountain Lodge with its old wood floors, old photographs on the wall and pleasant staff brings you back in time to a quieter, more relaxed time in Baguio.

Nice and quiet lodging in Baguio City

Posted 30 Sep 2016
Pros: The place is quite easy to find and quiet.
Cons: I think the Toothbrush and toothpaste should be free of charge. The wi-fi connection is good but not unlimited.
Overall, I enjoyed staying in this lodge. This is actually a big house and not a hotel establishment which is really better for me since it gives a "home" vibe.

Dirty hotel near Teacher's Camp

Posted 18 Sep 2016
I got the surprise of my life when I got there the comfort room was common. The staff NEVER cleaned the CR and common areas. So yucky! Ants where everywhere bec of the left over food. The only think I like is its proximity to Teacher's Camp
