Did I expect too much?
Posted 7 Jan 2019 on HotelsThe room was to small for 4 adults. Provided linens/ beddings for the additional bed was to thin for Baguio weather and the power outlet was grounded.

Great views, conveniently located, well equipped K
Posted 8 Sep 2018 on HotelsMy ratings above are bearing in mind the price but I can't say that I had a better time in Cedar Peak which is probably the most upmarket accomodation in Baguio. This accomodation is rudimentary but it has a bed, the management kindly lent me a table and chair, a view over the back of Baguio (rather than the main park valley), a large kitchen dining room with stove, kettle, pots pans and refrigerator. The toilet flush did not work but I did not mind pour water using a large ladle from a large bucket. The management also kindly let me use the kitchen dining room as a function room for free so I was able to hold a research presentation meeting without any cost and only a few metres from my room. The hot water was a bit flakey turning hot and cold for reasons unknown but in Baguio temperatures that did not seem to matter. I liked the sound of the babbling brook out back and the house mate who will be in the downstairs flat until next march. When on the final day I left my phone outside the local shop and net cafe, which provides printing services at next to nothing, the shop owner brought it to this hotels owner who is looking after it till next time I come to stay. And I do intend to come to stay again. I think that the best room is room three on the second floor since it has a large balcony. It is possible to put padlocks on rooms 1 and 2 but I did not bother. I may purchase a Master Lock Portable Safe Box for about 30 USD for my next stay. The Wifi was very fast.

Pros: None
We booked a 1 night stay for 3 dormitory type room good for 10 persos per room as per website advertisement, when we arrived we have been blamed by the staff that we only paid the rent for 3 persons and not 3 rooms and the accomodations were not available, despite the fact that there was no advise regarding this changes. The staff asked us to pay in full the remaining number of people on the spot so he can look for another accomodation for us to use. This was disgusting and unacceptable, they have to be banned by expedia for misrepresentation and misleading information so they can get more money from clients without paying the website. They also advertise bed and breakfast but there was no breakfast included in the price per head and there was no advise or note on the website that breakfast is not included. If we only knew they will do this, we could have booked different accomodation as in the long run, we spent more by paying on the spot. Please don't be fooled by these people....never ever rent this hotel accomodation!

Budget hotel near to all tourist spots
Posted 8 Feb 2017Stayed for 2 nights this Feb. This transient is recommended for people on tight budget. If accommodation is only for the purpose of sleeping after a whole day tour, then this place is just fine. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. No TV but wifi is strong.
