"The hotel is visibly old and could do with a refurbishment. The room was spacious but primitive. The restaurant is recently overtaken by two younger chefs and is excellent. The hotel and restaurant are seperate businesses. The hotel staff was kind but forgetful. My partner is intolerant to Gluten ..."

"Very nice hotel with old world charm, nice view of the water, and accommodating staff. They served breakfast starting at 7am instead of 8 just to accommodate us since we mentioned we had to take the ferry at 8:30 from Ærøskøbing. And the breakfast was amazing!"

Småt men godt.
"Huset har bevaret sit originale udtryk på trods af renovering gennem tiden. Den lille plads i huset er en del af charmen. Der manglede dog et fjernsyn eller i det mindste en radio. Det ville være et plus hvis der havde været en husmappe. Vi måtte lede en del for at finde el måler. Og det lykkedes ..."
