Was a wonderful stay for us. The staff were amazing throughout are stay. Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the town from our balcony. I would definitely stay again.

Nice view from the room. If you want to go for free thermal , remember to bring along along your swim suit. The location is also excellent and convenient.

Good overall
Posted 15 Oct 2020 on HotelsNice hotel. Be prepared to walk up the hill if you go to the town. There's a way via the stairs or the park, but both quite hard after a day of hiking. The only annoying part was the housekeeping cominh early on a Sunday (8:30am) while we're still sleeping. Other than that enjoy the free access to the spa close by.

Posted 26 Oct 2015Bergfrieden was an excellent choice. Very tasty formal German breakfast included - meats, breads, yogurts, fruit, juices, coffee and tea. Well tended rooms. Fluffy blankets. Very sufficient for the American traveller.

Cheap and cheerful
Posted 20 Apr 2014Great little homely hotel, clean and modern rooms, very comfortable, a little annoying there's no Wifi in the rooms and parking can be a pain, but it's cheap and a nice place.

Bergfrieden - short walk through park to town
