Our room was very clean and remodeled well. We were only staying one night so we booked the cheapest king bed room. This room #24 was an attic room which had no windows except for two skylight window on the ceiling. Didn’t have screens and it rained that evening, so we closed them. That made the room very hot and stuffy. Other rooms had balconies and I’m sure were very nice. Also, they didn’t have small towels for the shower. Breakfast was from 8-10. We r early raisers so went in town to have breakfast.

Dear Suzanne, thank you very much for your time to write a review. We are happy that you liked the design of the rooms and the hotel. However, we are sorry that you obviously were not so happy with the chosen room that is described at the website of Expedia exactly as you describe it here, a nice cosy room with no balcony and only windows in the ceiling, however, moderately priced. There are screens at these windows. If you close the window in summertime, it might get hot, but you could have left the window slightly open. In addition, we do have a highly efficient Dyson cooling fan in the room. All other rooms do have a balcony and a nice view to the mountains, why didn't you book one of these rooms if a balcony is of such an importance for you? Giving us a bad grade and review afterwards is not very nice and a little bit unfair! Breakfast is from 8-10 am, but if you would have given us a sign in advance, we could have organized something for you as earlybirds... Solid stay, great friendly service.
Posted 26 Jul 2021 on HotelsSolid hotel. Only stayed one night for a business trip. Smallish room (5) but big enough for one person with a table in it and a bathtub as a shower. The breakfast was plenty and the staff was very nice.

Great stay in a great area
Posted 8 May 2018 on HotelsI didn't know what to expect going in, but this was an amazing cottage. You could tell that everything had been recently renovated, the room was lovely and the right amount of Bavarian. The breakfast was wonderful, both the service and food (the amount and the quality).
This is a great area of Bavaria and Landhaus St. Georg is a wonderful place to stay.

Lovely hotel

staff are. Try helpful.
I can easily tell their superior rooms, junior suite and luxury suites are not less than the ones in 5 star hotel in this area.

Beautiful view and helpful staff

Pros: Reasonably priced. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: WIFI. Very weak, couldn't get in our room only in dining room and then not great
Location: Beautiful lake and beach. Great boat ride to town across the lake. Nice park and walkway around the lake.
It was a little tricky to find but actually fairly conveniently located. Bad Weisee is a lovely lake resort town off the regular tourist path-at least we were the only Non-German visitors we saw. We took a boat ride across the lake to Tegrenssee to visit the Benedictine abbey and beer garden☺️

Excellent stay in Bad Wiessee
Posted 13 Apr 2015I chose the Landhaus St. Georg as it was located across the street from the Jaegerwinkel, where a family member was staying for rehabilitation. The hotel was clean, rooms were nicely decorated and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast is complete...very fresh breads, excellent coffee and all the cheeses and wurst that you would expect in Bavaria. Eggs on request...nicely done. Ultimately, I stayed at the hotel for two weeks, and it came to be "home" during that time. I can recommend this hotel to others.

Surprise
Posted 27 Jul 2014 on HotelsI made this reservation from the back of a motorcycle 10 minutes before checking in so the staff were surprised to see us and we were surprised by what a nice choice we had made. After passing through the busy town center of Bad Wiessee we were very happy to be on a quiet street with a lovely room. Breakfast was very nice.

Great room but not worth the price
Posted 10 Aug 2009 on HotelsWe loved the hotel, but have questions about what we were charged for our stay. It was definitely NOT worth what we appear to have been charged. It was a very nice 3 star hotel, and if that is the price range, I would recommend it. I would not recommend booking a room there for more than a 3 star price.
