feels like a low budget campground
Posted 18 Jun 2023 on HotelsThe photo of the location is deceiving, looks like its in the country but its actually an industrial area. Not a nice area. Even tho the bed is comfortable, the pillows are horrible and they also need darkening curtains. Extra chairs are needed to sit on the balcony. We bought a portable fan to keep us cool at night. Needless to say we did not sleep well for 3 nights. The bedroom is clean, staff is ok and you can rent bikes. They allow trailers/caravans to park in their parking lot right next to the restaurant where breakfast is served, but the worst part is the campers empty their "toilet" waste in the hotel walking through the front lobby with the camper toilet. I would not stay there again. This is a very low budget hotel.

Nice location but

Nice people but room was stuffy
Posted 3 Sep 2021 on HotelsVery nice people, but uncomfortable nights sleep. The room was very stuffy but way too noisy to keep the patio door open. It also seemed odd to have a patio with no seating. The sheets were very uncomfortable. They are the t-shirt material and covered in pills, so like sleeping on sandpaper. I prefer cotton sheets.

Good standard hotel in Bad Säckingen

One night overstay was comfortable, bigger room than standard. Nespresso coffee machine a nice add. Breakfast included good, albeit not “charming”. This hotel is quite standard but does the job for a short overstay in the area.
