Little getaway
Posted 3 Aug 2018 on HotelsWe decided on this hotel because of location. The hotel itself was nicely positioned at the top of the park area. Easy walking distance to restaurants. "Town" itself had a purpose built feel to it. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Honesty book system for self service beers, wines and spirits that worked well. The biggest negative (apart from no tea and coffee facilities in the room!) was that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! The temperatures reached 37 degrees dropping to 28 degrees at night so unbearably hot for sleeping. On a positive note, nice balcony and garden area, good breakfast and free parking.

Posted 12 Sep 2015 on HotelsHad a great experience with hosts Michael and Christine. Went outof their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was decent and plentiful, quiet location just above "Friederichs" spring well was perfect. Would gladly stay here again given the choice.

A Period Piece
Posted 19 Jun 2015Like the town of Bad Pyrmont, the hotel has seen better days; it tends to the old fashioned and some things show minor signs of wear. But it is gracious, clean and well-run, keeping a good bit of the tone of earlier years. .Excellent, quiet location, a short wlalk from the spa facilities and the glorious Kurpark. A good restaurant with a generous breakfast.
