"The shower pod is literally in the room you sleep in at the bottom of the bed. I had no idea this was the case when booking as I’ve never known anything like it! There is zero privacy! "Staff was very friendly!! Room was clean, in good shape. AC was out of order while we were there but we got free drinks and free parking on the property for our stay to make up for the inconvenience which was very good and saved us a lot of money. I'd come here again!"

"The Grand Hotel Amrâth is an incredible historic hotel. It is very centrally located near Central train station. My room on the 3rd floor had high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the canal. Absolutely gorgeous! They have many original museum pieces from when they were a shipping house in the early 1900’s. I truly enjoyed my stay. I would say my only complaint would be that they did not have a ramp to bring luggage up the front stairs. The bellman does help if he is waiting in front but if not, pretty challenging. Have some great videos of my room but unfortunately won’t upload on the site "
