No much unique. Bad food swell when accessing the room. Room smelled of closed and humid area

Pros: Could accommodate 5 people in a family room. Location is lovely. Car park is OK - no private parking but several free car parks nearby.
Cons: It doesn't seem to be a French thing but it's always nice to have some tea / coffee facilities in your room on arrival. We liked the spiral staircase.
Location: Castle is next door and well worth a visit. Lots of lovely restaurants and cafes although they don't open until 7pm. Pretty church.
very convenient for a family of 5. not easy to find anywhere else. was very central in Azay Le Rideau and great base to explore.

It was a surprise
Posted 31 Jul 2016We were trying to be in Tours but places were sold out and we got this place in Azay-le-Rideau. It is a charming hotel on top of a fine restaurant on one of the busier streets in an otherwise tiny town. Very quaint hotel in a very cute place. Only two issues were lack of AC and very tight space for our 3 kids in a triple bunk bed!

Great hotel with a convenient location

Pros: Room, restaurant, staff, location
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Located in a beautiful historic town. Chateaus, historic sites, biking, restaurants, and shops nearby.
We had a wonderful stay at Les Trois Lis. The room and restaurant were excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We used this hotel as our home base for several days while we were visiting chateaus and other sights in the area. The town was charming and the location convenient. We will recommend this hotel to our friends.

Good location in the Loire

Les Trois Lys at Azay-Le-Rideau: Great Location!

Pros: Charming, great location, friendly service
Location: Azay-le-Rideau castle and Usse castle nearby, plus many others within 30 minute drive. Restaurants and cafes, plus an excellent boulangerie.
We had very friendly service at Les Trois Lys and the room for the 5 of us was excellent! Call ahead if you will arrive late and they will accomodate you with no problems. Our room was very charming and comfortable in the heat with rooftop views and a clean bathroom. Azay-le-Rideau has a good choice of restaurants and cafes and the hotel is steps away from the castle. We also recommend the Molinari Gelateria for its marvellous flavours and dedicated service. The town parking is free and close to everything. Azay-le-Rideau is an easy place to stay with children.
