Excellent!
Posted 24 Sep 2024 on HotelsFrom the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were looked after very well by Phillipe, Natasha and the staff. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was very good. However, for us the highest marks should go to to the food. The breakfast had an excellent European choice. The dinners were superb. The menu was changed everyday and there was a limited but good choice of dishes. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. The fish and desserts were particularly good. It was a very good price for the quality. We intended to eat there just twice but only ate out at a small restaurant in the village was once.
Philippe was very helpful in giving us suggestions for visits. We would definitely stay there again when we next visit France.

An OK hotel in an "out of town" location. Needed car to visit Azay le Rideau in rain!
Limited bar seating but OK restaurant and nice food.

It was a modern but characterless venue, everything felt rather robotic.

Very good choice if you want a good restaurant
Posted 6 May 2024 on HotelsWelcomed by Natalia and her parrot when we arrived. Lovely old hotel with easy parking right outside, and a stones throw from the town itself.
Our room was well presented, quiet and very comfortable with a good sized ensuite. We booked a table at the restaurant for that evening and glad we did as it was pretty full. Loved our 2 night stay and would definitely recommend it.

Posted 7 Oct 2019 on HotelsVery friendly. Spoke English. Excellent breakfast & location. Reasonable price. Lots of parking. Our second stay here. First was a number of years ago. Not sure there is an elevator for the upper floors if that would be needed.
