Nice hotel great staff food is good. The only downfall is it needs some updated rooms for example the mattress very bumpy and not comfortable and the heat doesn't heat up the room only a small area

What’s not to like. From checking in, where we received a warm welcome, we enjoyed our stay. Every member of staff we interacted with were really friendly. The suit was really spacious & comfortable. There were plenty of parking spaces.
We ate in the restaurant, there was a lot to choose from on the menu. The food was tasty.
We enjoyed a swim in the pool. It was handy having towels provided rather than taking the ones from the room.
The hotel was well positioned to walk to the beach.
Would recommend to anyone considering visiting Ayr.

Staff were lovely, chatty and very helpful. Hotel near to beach. Although we didn’t eat there restaurant was busy and seemed popular. No view at all from room (frosted glass!) which was a bit disappointing 😞 Room was large but decor a wee bit tired. Apart from that it was OK.

Clean with friendly staff, and very generously sized rooms. However -- the photos shared in the listing looked nothing at all like the room we were given. I would guess that all of the photos provided are of the suites, not regular double rooms. We expected bright, airy and modern based on photos and instead got very dated decor (70s/early 80s?) with a rock hard bed, cracked bathroom tiles, a shower unfortunately too hot to stand under properly (I did try to turn it down but it only got hotter) and plumbing so noisy you could hear everyone else's running water on that floor. There was also unfortunately a flooding incident somewhere in the hotel during our stay which resulted in extremely noisy maintenance work around 8am on the morning we checked out, with no prior warning. It was fine enough for a two night stay but wouldn't have wanted to stay longer based on this - I got the impression it was a beautiful, modern place some years ago but is overdue some work.
