Huge room with all necessary amenities. Bathroom was fine but some scratches and rust are apparent. Easy parking, good location, very comfortable bed. You have to go to the gym next door to pick up your keys but the overall

Okay stay
It could have done with more inteaction with staff on check out .
Kevin on reception wss very polite on arrival
Instructions on wether or not breakfast is free or not could be clearer
Also wifi and signalling was a major problem. Most guests had to go outside of the Lodge to get a clear signal on their phones .
Unfortunately we didnt get to stay.
I booked through yourselves and was told by hotel there was no availability and was your error. Since then been trying to get hold of anyone to discuss refund which is impossible
The bed was amazing, unfortunately i was woken up at 3am and 7am because somehow I think someone else's remote control turned on my TV so I didn't have the best nights sleep.
Nobody on reception, once I found it. Key card didn’t work so had to go back again and guess what! Yep nobody on reception again, room smelt, is very basic, no cups or cutlery, tv didn’t work, no air conditioning, bathroom dirty, looks nothing like the picture, paid £80.00 for something that is only worth £40.00 overall extremely disappointing
No hot water. Aylesbury is an ancient town and the decor at this 'hotel' lives up to that although I'm sure even the Saxons had hot water. There's never any space in the car park. For what you get for your money, the lodge is extremely expensive. The staff at check in (at the leisure centre) are friendly and helpful. But there are no staff in the Lodge itself, except the night porter who seems a bit glum and unsupported.
But just to reiterate... You can't have a hotel without hot water! Cold showers are not my friend!!
Great place, easy parking and booking in. Situated in a good quiet location. Easy check out.

Disappointed
Like a very old travelodge . Bedding and towels clean but don’t think room saw a vac all week and sink etc didn’t get wiped down. Receptionist didn’t want to be there unapproachable and short with answers. Def not a £54 a nite for room only,£30 max ! Says use of pool etc but always classes on so limited slots when allowed in.
Brilliant use of a national treasure. The rooms are very spacious being designed for wheelchairs and disabled access wetroom was well equipped. The gym and pool are olympic quality and the breakfast was just right.
We were put in the wrong room to start with, it was only once I'd called down to reception to say our bed isn't made do we have to make it ourselves did the receptionist say oh I've put you in the wrong room. We then had to go down to collect the correct room key.
The shower wasn't very good with not much hot water.
Clean easily accessible safe parking walking distance to the hospital

Clean and tidy but very dated and old fashioned, worst of all cold shower and after an eighteen hour shift what I was looking forward to most was a nice hot shower! Morning shower was ok but that’s no consolation for the earlier cold one.

Nothing stood out either way except the cold bathroom shower caked in lime and the non working light,
Quick business trip. Very good value, clean, Comfortable bed, blackout curtains and a good sleep.
No frills but what would you expect for this price. Would stay again - premier inn type operation and perfect for quick business trip.
One night stop for sporting event. Rooms was large and clean and excellent value at £40 for the night. The issue we had was the noise from the other guests ie doors banging, shouting, music. We complained at 2.30am and eventually reception came and sorted it out. Next day we discovered police had been called due to an altercation and people smoking dubious substances outside other rooms!!
Size of room and bathroom was pleasing comfortable bed and warm doona. Bit out of town but with car OK nice quiet location. Good idea to book taxi if coming back to local train station Stoke Manderville late we had to wait 20 min after 9pm
Working away from home this is ideal as its next to the gym and swimming pool so plenty to do in the evening rather than just sit in a hotel room watching TV.
