The taxi driver on dropping me voiced his surprise at my wanting to be dropped at such a place. The entrance lobby was a small passage adjacent to the kitchen, stairs and front door. The owner explained to me that she was fully booked, as it as a busy time in Avignon, with the Festival. She had therefore needed to re-allocate me...
