"It was a lovely well maintained apartment with plenty of space. The views outside the windows and shutter blinds were lovely and the property was very quiet. Also very close to main parts of Verona although road itself was a tiny bit run down. The lift at the apartments was bit slow. "

"Location location location. This one ticks the boxes. Just inside the bridge onto the island it is right next to the shops, bars and restaurants and next to the ferry pier. Everything is a very short walk. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the water and ferry pier. Well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is old and classic historic in some ways and a little tired in others. The only negative was the AC in the room did not cope with an early June heat. We set it to 19 but the room never got below 23 making it difficult to sleep at night. You can’t have the windows open as there are loads of flying insects hanging around. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone. "

"Lovely place and clean. The staff are so helpful; they're excellent and couldn't wish for better. The hotel is very well placed for The Arena/Piazza Bra as well as Piazza Erbe - lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. A short walk to "Juliet's Balcony & house". Trains to Lake Garda and beyond; the bus to other places. Very cheap and the train in particular was very reliable. Our ultimate accolade for the hotel is: We would gladly stay there again. Thank you Accademia!"

"Excellent property in a fantastic location, you can walk out of the door and see the Arena down the street! The room has recently been renovated to a high standard, it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were great, helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet had a nice range of things to try."
