"Stayed 6 nights. Convenient location, easy access to Amsterdam Central via tram line 14 which was a 2min walk away (Artis). Tram line 1 was also easily accessible. Albert Heign supermarket was a 5 min walk away. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen facilities all in working condition. Mikael checked us in and was very helpful with assistance/queries and booking transport to the airport. Overall a lovely stay. Highly recommended."

"Good location for transport and walkable to shopping, trips and sights. Only thing dropping the rating was we were at the front of the building and it was noisy overnight. We were woken every night 2-3 times by noise from the streets. Otherwise great location and helpful staff. "

"Overall, a very good stay. Amazing historic space with modern fit-out and amenities. Great location with a tram stop and line to key locations and central station very close by. Apartment was a little worn from use and some additional chairs for lounging and dining for 4 people would have been useful."

"Loved the property — clean and quiet in that area. Bus to central station was nearby. Design of toilet floor could be better though. It was flooding as the water wasn’t directed to the drain and it flowed out of the toilet into the common area but nothing a towel can’t stop. Property was really pretty! Would stay again "

"Fantastic stay would stay again. The only improvement would be cleanliness as the microwave was dirty and no sheets were provided for the sofa bed. However they do have an essential cupboard which you can help yourself to stuff that is needed. "

"Good size rooms and view of the water was good. Rooms had their linen changed but the living room and kitchen was pretty dirty still.. bathroom and toilet were good.. if you have a lot of luggage, suggest ask for a ground floor apartment as the lift was not working and the stairs were tight and steep.. "

"It’s was such a great stay in Kimpton de Witt The hotel is in a great location close to all the main transport links in and out of Amsterdam We didn’t book breakfast in advance but we did eat in the open buffet twice (30€pp) which was lovely and fresh The only things that bother me in the room was that there is no enough light for hair and makeup. The room is quite dark , specially where there’s no light from the outside in the winter 😓 Overall , highly recommend!!"

Excellent affordable hotel in central location

"A very affordable but beautiful Hotel with the friendliest concierge staff! It is located right by the Van Gogh museum and less than a mile walk from most other attractions. The room itself was very clean and a good size for two people. Gorgeous lobby bar as well!"

"I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. It is very close to the Amsterdam Centraal Station and is within walking distance to the shopping area and night life. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Different rooms are available but if you wish to be looking at the ships going up and down the river or the trains then you need to book a room with a View. "
