Nice town centre hotel

Pros: Helpful staff
Clean and comfortable hotel. Excellent bed very comfortable, small but functional bathroom. No in room tea and coffee making facilities (no idea if this is the norm in France), very quiet for a town centre location. Big free car park next to hotel. Good restaurant for both breakfast and evening meal. Happy to recomend. Seems to be used in the main by French business men during the week rather than tourists

Average hotel in convenient location in Autun
Posted 10 Dec 2014 on HotelsThis property is convenient to local shopping and restaurants and close to client site. Parking area is convenient behind the hotel. The pillows are unusual and there are no options for alternatives offered. Restaurant is average. Staff is friendly. Although this hotel is NOT rated poorly, I prefer a more modern property if there would be a better hotel available I would use it and would not return to this one.

Beautiful Autun, great room, great service...
Posted 29 Oct 2014 on HotelsThe staff was delightful! When we arrived, the gentleman placed a cone out front in an empty spot, and we were allowed to park there for our stay. Large room. One double bed and a twin bed also. Speedy internet service. Ate dinner there and enjoyed the Charolais steak frites and some great burgundy wine. What's not to like? It's a very short walk up hill to the Cathedral St Lazare and the lovely pedestrian shopping area. Wonderful Roman ruins...

Pros: Location to sites
Good location in Autun, going back to the Hundred Years War! Walk to Roman ruins/ampitheatre, cathedral, museums - all uphill. Not many English speaking travellers. Bed linens clean/pressed. Dining room food excellent, w/pleasant service. Bathroom small, but functional. An elevator avbl, which is not always the case in France. Overall, would stay there again.

Very good value for money
Posted 22 Sep 2011Although the building is somewhat faded, this is a comfortable and well-run hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bedroom was well furnished. The hotel is close to the centre of Autun, and there is a free car park in an adjacent plot. Wi-fi is free and works smoothly.

Well located Hotel
Posted 21 Jul 2010Hotel was very well located at center of town. Room were comfortable and very adequate for comfortable overnight stay. You can use the car park of the supermarket next door for free.

Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Zentrum. Charmant eingerichtete saubere Zimmer, ausreichend gross. Freundliches Personal und Service. Sehr gutes Frühstück und gutes Abendessen. Keine Parkmoeglichkeiten beim Hotel, ausser man hat Glück und findet einen Parkplatz. Daher ist auch das Be-und Entladen von Gepäck problematisch. Im Stadtzentrum sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden.
