Staff friendly and helpful but facility is old. Wall in my bathroom was peeling up in one area. There are no electronic chargers for phones in the rooms. Parking is in the basement- takes much longer to get cart to get travel items then go down to basement. There is a 15 minute parking in the front to unload making it ok if you just need to let people out of the car.

I attempted to cancel this 3 night trip due to a death in the family. Expedia attempted to call the property without success. I attempted to cancel the room 654 EST, which should have been a click to cancel but it required a phone call and no one answered. When contacted it was a little after 7 EST and missed the deadline by a few minutes and a flawed process costed me over a lot of money. Even after cancelling I was charged the entire stay without even checking in. I am an IHG member and I know booking third party changes services, but this is a major disservice. To have to fly out of state and book another hotel for a funeral and still have to call the property for a refund because I was charged when I didn’t check in seems dishonest and disheartening. I would hope that this doesn’t happen to another customer. Being charged for the property lack of responsiveness in horrible customer service. Working with expedia the property agreed to give to refund 2 nights that I was charged, which I am grateful for.

The staff really need to up their customer service. We don't need looks and attitude. If someone is being friendly and courteous, reciprocate. Don't shut their mood down. I wish they would have been friendlier

We came into Austin for the Interpol Concert. The hotel was conveniently located right down Red River to the Moody amphitheater, so walking by was a great option to the concert and to restaurants and clubs in the area. Very comfortable and somewhat quiet. The clubs in the area are loud and play Late into the night, so it’s not a knock on the Hotel (they do provide ear plugs). We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Austin.

Stayed one night here. Room was adequate and facilities were clean. Rochelle at the feont desk was super friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and some great recommendations. The room and facility was nice and clean. Breakfast was good and convenient. This hotel is a great value!
