Refused to stay there

Posted 25 Mar 2018
My experience is that I walked into a room with an unmade bed, dirty wet towels on the floor & empty nutri grain box, we did not stay there & have not heard from them even though they say they have 24/7 help desk, no one has answered my repeated attempts of contact so not happy at all

Quiet and convenient

I used the place because it was close to my seminar for the weekend. I was rapt with the service, my room and the quiet neighborhood. I was given an upgrade

A house with no reception desk, limited parking

Posted 25 Feb 2018 on Wotif
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Cleaning on time, booking arrangements, parking
Location: Semi industrial location
We did not stay as our booked room was occupied by someone else. No explanation yet, 5 weeks later, given by Wotif or Hotel.com as to why they let our room to another guest despite confirmation and entry codes given to us one day before arrival. . Rooms not serviced by 5pm and rubbish bins overflowing. Not easy finding the correct email / person who handles refunds. Various other emails handled poorly. A horrible experience, shocking security breach and lesson in never booking a room where no staff are present

Terrible and unreliable owners, room Ok

Posted 23 Feb 2018 on CheapTickets
We made reservations (and paid) for an ensuit room for our honeymoon. When we arrived we found out that we got a tiny room without showers and bathroom. Also, there was no wifi (even though there should have been according to the hotel's info) and we couldn't find the washing machine (I wonder if there ever was one). every attempt to contact the owners, by mail or phone has failed. Finally, on our second day the cleaners kindly helped us to contact the owners who promised to call us back (which, of course, never happened). On our second night, when we were sleeping, a woman opened our room's door. It turned out that the room was double booked. The other couple, approximately 60 years old, had to sleep in the garage. As far as we know also couldn't contact the owners. All in all - bloody nightmare!!

Wouldn’t be my first choice, but ok for a night

-check in easy. Code was sent to get into house and room. -“hotel” is a house that has been converted. Appeared one bedroom on main level and 4 on second floor. Main living room and kitchen quite nice. -shared bathroom upstairs could be updated so it doesn’t look so dingy. -had room with 2 single beds as that’s all that was available. Room has been poorly set up. Small table separates the beds with a small table light and radio but no extension cord and neither the light or radio could be plugged in. Beds needed to be moved a bit to get to electrical plugs.
