Property is old and kind of rundown. First room I was given and not been cleaned. The hotel is very overpriced for what you get.

The first room was filthy and we had to be moved to another room but once we got moved to a different room we had no more issues.

The room had roaches in the bed sheets, on the floor and in the microwave. The paint was chipped and the room smelled of marijuana smoke. Staff lied when we returned the keys and refused to spend one night there. They told Expedia we used the room which was an untruth. They had a hand written sign on the door saying no refunds. Even after staff informed us to have Expedia call and they would refund. The property swiped your card as soon as you check in and snatched the money immediately so beware.

Both Stephanie and another older woman were very pleasant, helpful and sweet.
The room reeked of smoke from the moment we opened the door even though it was non smoking room. Both nights were sold out so couldn’t switch rooms.
The remote didn’t work so couldn’t turn tv on/off, change volume or channel (turned it on from the actual tv). Ms Stephanie kindly sent another remote up but that still didn’t work.
Room didn’t have a shower liner but she took care of that as well and had someone bring one up.
Did see two small roaches in our bathroom so we were on alert whole time.
Room served its purpose to sleep and shower while visiting for Homecoming but it is not a first place pick at all. If you like Waffle House, it sits in the same parking lot so you’re in luck. Having a little continental breakfast in the morning was a good touch

Do not stay here! We arrived to a hotel room that reeked of marijuana. The hotel had marijuana weeds stems on the floor. The bath room had roaches crawling out of the bathtub and around the baseboards. We immediately went to the front desk to address this matter. I was told to get ahold of Expedia for a refund. The manager, Diana would not approve Expedia for a refund. She stated it was a non refundable weekend and here in the South we have bugs, it is normal. Absolutely not!

Absolutely filthy, bugs, cockroaches. Staff was beyond unpleasant. Save your money and go somewhere else.

BUGS! BUGS! BUGS! Do NOT stay here! There were bed bugs in the room and other bugs all over. When I left because I refuse to sleep with bugs the night worker would not even speak to me. In the morning when I messaged to get ahold of the manager they would not refund me because “they only found roaches in the room.” Terrible service and unclean bug filled rooms.
I travel a LOT and have never left a poor review before but I was blown away by how unclean this hotel was and how horrible the service was. The only redeeming quality was that the hotel is close to other hotels you can escape to when you have to leave this one.
