"The hotel did not have any hot water. This normally isn't a problem in the heat during summer, but I stayed in March, where the nights were a bit chilly and required a not cold water temperature. When I talked to the hotel about someone coming to fix it, it took him 2 hours to reach our room. This was before bed, so I couldn't go to sleep until they came in to fix the water. The person they sent seemed very rushed to get it fixed, and didn't actually end up fixing it either. Other than the...

"The property is well located, there is a bus station about five minutes walk from the property so if you take the X3 bus from the airport you you literally get off at the last stop Bugibba, and it cost only two euro. The room i stayed in had constant loud banging sounds from the room the table was broken and the bed frame also broken and scratched my leg causing it to bleed; but i was able to switch rooms the second day. "A disappointing apartment, certainly not worth over £110 per night. Very basic with unattractive furnishing. The advertised 'parking on site' is only 1 space for 2 apartments and was not available on our arrival - this should be made clear in the listing. There are cameras on the balcony and hot tub so we did not use either as it was so intrusive. When we arrived the bedsheets and towels smelt awful, they came to change but hardly any better. "It's a nice hotel, only noise I heard was when chairs were moved around, perhaps felt pads would avoid such noises. Only real gripe is TV is in German, I did ask if they could reset to English and engineer did visit but still the same after, in fact worse as he had cleared the netflix account for a german user but at least they were in English. BBC not available for remembrance day."

"Positives first: Lovely hotel, comfortable bed, superb bathroom. Friendly staff. Definitely staying here again. Negatives: we stayed Friday and Saturday nights. It can get very noisy on Saturday nights when the people start leaving from the nearby bars, clubs and restaurants. I could hear people shouting on the streets till 4AM. This was room 402. I will ask for some other room next time."
