"We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. We were so LUCKY it was available. The price was reasonable and we could immediately check in. So easy! Thank you to the host family who has placed this location on hotels.com. We are so grateful. The property is roomy. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, a small seating area upstairs and an open kitchen/living room concept downstairs. It has a washer/dryer. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked with plates, utensils, cups, pans, pots, etc. It is located near a cute and quiet area in Ellsworth. It’s about 35 minutes to Bar Harbor itself but with how crowded it was there, it was nice to have the break back in this property. We will stay again! "
