Check in issues on the hotel's part, which left me at a huge disadvantage & inconvenience

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I felt like they were glad I was staying there. Very rare for a large city.

The furnishings including the carpet are quite dated and need a serious revamp. The room smelt of smoke, was musty and at some point I couldn't breath due to the overwhelming smoke smell. The bathroom, towels and bed linen are clean. The curtains and railings are torn and falling off so didn't close properly. The AC kept me up as it was noisy and old. To make up for all this, Edith and Simone and one more guy (forgot his name) make your stay worthwhile. They attend to you with a smile and are willing to go an extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Pray you don't get the grumpy guy because you will check out right at check in. Wish they mentioned on the booking site that the breakfast is "to go" option so you book from an informed point. Overall, if the place was overhauled, it is in a good location and neighborhood.

Simone and Tod the manager was very kind helpful and courteous each time I visited this I would recommend and always visit this establishment
