Roy hotel is a decent hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Room was ok, very basic but in a good state. However the bathroom deserves very good attention, no shower holder, a deep cleaning is very much needed.
The area is a bit rough, especially when it gets dark, although I did not feel unsafe. The area offers a lot of coffee shops, great underground and buses links, walking distance to the Karaiskaki Square, where there is a stop to the hop on and hop off Athens day tours bus.

We left the hotel immediately. The area is dangerous and the hotel is sketchy. There are warnings everywhere that if something is stolen they are not responsible. They require you to give them your room keys and don't accept if you object.

The location is perfect. It’s close to the train station, close to amazing bakery’s like Acharnon 221 104 46 Athens, Greece. The staff is super friendly, they helped us with our luggage’s and get taxis.
