BE AWARE, Don’t stay here.
24/7 front desk doesn’t exist. I arrived at 2 pm and no one was there to let me in. A guest finally let me in.
There was only a non-English speaking, Cleaning Lady who showed up after a while. And showed me to my room. For two days, I had nobody who spoke English. I wasn’t even given the code to open front door or to access my room. I paid for the most expensive room with a view.
My reservations was for three days. I asked to cancel my reservation and they did not agree. On second day manager and a nice receptionist showed up both speak spoke English. And admit it that everything was wrong and promised to make it up to me. So I trusted them and asked for a partial refund. They said they will make it up to me and all they did was give me a ride to the airport on the third day when I was checking out.
I was under the impression that they giving me some sort of refund for the high rate that I paid and what I received, but of course they didn’t do anything
NO BREAKFAST Available, nothing at all.
Walk to Acropolis LIE. Need to take metro and go 3 stations. I literally had to go next-door to the mechanic shop to even ask how to get to the Metro. Not knowing if it was even safe for me to walk around the area. But I finally managed to find some food and Metro
ROOF GARDEN that I was excited about was a mess. Hasn’t been cleaned for a long time.
They cleaned it a bit while I was there.
my first vacation in Athens was completely ruined.
