Basic motel not too far from campus. Staff was very helpful. Room basic but clean and quiet.

Great place for the price. Bed was comfy. A new coat of paint would go a long way. The shower head is not made for tall people. All in all, I’d stay there again. It was nice a close to OU which was the reason for our visit. Super quiet. The road construction on the front street was a bummer. Bottom line is that we got to see our daughter during parents week and didn’t have to go bankrupt to do so, though the price was inflated due to the occasion.

Clean and inexpensive
Posted 7 Jul 2024 on HotelsPlace is definitely worn. Exterior looks just plain bad. Interior needs updating but was nice and clean. Would recommend for a quick night stay.

Clean, comfy budget motel
Posted 4 Jun 2024 on HotelsThe motel was clean and the beds were SUPER comfortable! The woman who checked us in (I was in Athens with my 16 yr old daughter visiting a friend) was very friendly! The door to the room only had a doorknob lock and it wasn't super sturdy. The chain lock was broken. And the door had a decent-sized gap between it and the door frame in some places. That all being said, I still felt safe enough and the rooms on the opposite end of the motel were being worked on and upgraded while we were there. I would definitely still recommend this motel! VERY good for the price!

Thank you for taking time to review. I am glad to head that you had a good stay. Sorry you face some issues during your stay, but we are getting it fix. When you came here, we were under renovation. We updated front wall of all rooms, by installing new door and window. The gap between the door frame is now filled with gap filler. Chain lock is going to replace by electric lock with dead bolt. Electronic lock is already shipped now and will be installed with in a week. I hope to see you on your next visit.Thank you,Management
