Rooms with beautiful views of NIle. Nice pool and surrounding gardens.
Dining in the buffet was too expensive.

We stayed at this hotel with young children in a family suite. Well, the hotel looks to have aged a little bit from the outside internally. It’s full of character and he’s truly a wonderful sanctuary right in the heart of Aswan.
Because the hotel is on an island, you have to get there via a little fairy ride and it is a delightful way to experience the hotel for the first time
There are Great dining options inside the hotel and everything is very reasonably priced
By far the Best asset of the Hotel are the wonderful staff who truly care for your experience and went out of their way to make sure that our family had a great time.

Mövenpick was kind enough to upgrade me to a bi-level suite. The upgrade was very much appreciated
The service, room and food were excellent
The hotel is located on an island a short boat ride from the center of old Aswan.
The hotel grounds feels almost like being in a five star city
The hotel operates a free ferry which runs approximately every five to ten minuets to ferry people from old Aswan to the island
People who are elderly or who have disabilities my find getting on and off a medium size boat an issue
The hotel is excellent and is probably one of the best hotels in Aswan
There are some hustlers on certain streets in Aswan offering carriage rides who are not ethical and will try to put on extreme hard sell pressure or intimidation-beware

Best hotel experience
Posted 8 Aug 2024 on HotelsI didn't know much about this hotel before my stay here. Upon arrival I was immediately impress with the coordination of the staff and service. In was welcomed at "the port" hotel entrance and transferred by the staff by ferry boat and a golf kart. The staff at the front desk did out check in and one young lady manager came to welcome us tells us about the property and informed us that we had recieved a courtesy upgrade. She walked us to our room. It was a two story suite with a balcony. The place was amazing. We ate at the restaurant, my wife used the spa services, we walked the beautiful fruit and vegetable gardens. Every staff member made was courteous and helpful. The many different treats they offered us just added to such an amazing experience. I had extayed in other great hotels in the nearby cities but this was by far the best hotel service we encountered during our two week trip in Egypt. We noticed that our visit was during low season. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any travelers.

Astounding location and beautiful room with view

Lovely stay

Location would not please everyone since it's on an island so but there is a boat 24 hours available on the dock. Choose specific room if view is important for the stay. A bit dated but if you love midcentury to 80's like feel , then it wont be a problem. Breakfast had options. Room service is fast , courteous and efficient.
