"In addition to being a nice place to stay (we stayed there in 2019, and 2024), we love all the artwork in the building and on the grounds--the sculptures and the mosaics and stained glass. NEVER remove them in the name of Modernism. Keep them! They give the hotel a timeless elegance. "The place might be a bit in the middle of nowhere, but it is an absolute jewel. Incredibly well decorated, it is like no other hotel I have been. The staff was lovely and very accommodating, we arrived late because of a plane delay and they arranged a lovely meal for use despite the fact that the kitchen was closed.
