Pretty average room condition. Door handle in ensuite broken. main bathrom door wouldn't close. Noisy air conditioning.
Restaurant OK. Decent breakfast buffet included. Dinner buffet basic but filling reasonably priced. Laundry service slow and clothes came back still damp and too strong smelling detergent used.

Nice hotel
Posted 26 Aug 2018 on HotelsI stayed for one night and the hotel is very nice. It's not far from the center of the city. Breakfast was included and on an upper floor so there was a view over the river. Wifi worked fine and there was a minifridge in the room. My room also had a small balcony, but since it was winter I didn't use it. Like most places in Paraguay the window doesn't seal so I could see bugs being an issue in the summer. While the hotel is clearly older, it's been maintained well and has a very nice looking lobby.

Downtown hotel
Posted 31 Jul 2017Huge hotel in downtown Asuncion, Is an old area which means there are special reasons to stay at the Armele.
So take care of yourself at night if you are looking for a walk.

Stay here if you want to have a creepy experience in Asuncion
Posted 7 Jun 2011This was a hotel recommended by the organizers of a conference that I attended in Asuncion and it was a truly awful experience. The walls were paper thin and the condition of the room was unacceptable.
Never stay at this hotel. A hostel would be better if you are looking for something inexpensive. This was a nightmare!
