Dropped off our stuff after check-in then went out for the night. Upon our return we realized the air vent/fan unit would not turn on (knew there was no A/C but couldn't even get ventilation from it or heat if it was needed) so the room became very stuffy. Did not notify staff as it was after 11pm and we were very tired. The toilet kept running off and on throughout the night and the hard surface in the bathroom area had a very sticky floor. Priced competitively for the area, especially for a Saturday night, but wouldn't want to stay there for more than a night.

We stayed in a kitchen unit this time ... spacious, clean. The furniture did smell like old cigarette smoke, but not obnoxious. It is on the main street into Astoria, but was relatively quiet (really very little traffic after 10pm).

The manager was very courteous and friendly room was nice and comfortable

The carpets were sticky and dirty. my shoes or socks would stick to the carpet. The wood furniture was so trashed and broken. The furniture was so filthy I did not want to sit on it but had to as the there was no tv in the bedroom as advertised because apparently someone broke it, and they did not replace it, so the living room was the only place to watch tv. The front desk was friendly when I checked in, but she was rude when I questioned the lack of tv. I only picked this hotel for the suite as one of the guests needed to sleep during the day for work but will never stay here again as it was so gross. I would think I would have been offered a discount with not having a tv in the room as advertised.

Convenient location for thr Rod run. Carpet was disgusting, so dirty we had to wash our feet before putting socks and shoes on. parking was very narrow and limited in front of the hotel. No maid service for a 2 night stay. With all of these things price is outrageous
