The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking! The staff were friendly and fun and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A beautiful, rustic place to stay, linger and savor the majesty of the the Italian countryside. So glad we found this place to stay just outside of Assisi.

We booked because of the exceptionalities reviews on Expedia - our expectations were high - quite simply, this is not a property to stay at during the low season. Location is spectacular - the access to Assisi is perfect - unfortunately nothing that was promised was experienced except the stunning view. A key left with a note was all we got in terms of service and ammenities. Like I say...imagine summer time is spectacular - but not our experience.

This was such a tranquil & beautiful place. The staff were friendly & very accommodating. The rooms comfortable & well appointed. The food, mostly produced in house was divine! After the hustle & bustle of Firenze it was a god send!

Book at least two nights

I departed La Mandrie wishing I had booked more than one night. What a relaxing and tranquil experience! From the resident dog, Tom, to the waitstaff, friendliness abounds. My room was charming and spotless, and the pool was perfect. I particularly enjoyed the outstanding food at dinner and breakfast. The choices were extensive and the quality of ingredients exceptional. My waiter was thoughtful enough to quietly surprise me with a birthday candle on my dessert, which is a fine example of the authentic but discreet level of service you can expect at La Mandrie. I look forward to my next visit!

Endearing Hotel and Restaurant

This place oozes charm. The restaurant offers an unforgettable farm to table experience that guests but also locals enjoy. The hotel rooms are spacious with good bathrooms and showers. The beds are comfy and the views are amazing. The drive up to to the hill top is steep but worth it. Highly recommend staying here.

A pleasant place to relax

We had a lovely stay, very friendly staff and excellent food. It was pleasant to sit outside and unwind after sightseeing. The view from the pool & patio is gorgeous. They are within easy reach of Assisi, Perugia and many other sights.

Stunning Farm Hotel

This hotel on the outskirts of Assisi, high in the hills is a slice of heaven. We were treated like family upon our arrival. Dinner was spectacular- it is perfect for a getaway after a physical work-out walking the streets of Assisi. I highly recommend.

Out of the ordinary stay

This was a nice break from traditional hotel stay. The drive up the mountain to the hotel was long and at times narrow but the view was worth it. Staff very accommodating

Charming Farmhouse

We visited in the spring and it was perfect. There were wild flowers everywhere, roses were blooming and the air smelled incredible. This farmhouse is over 1000 yrs old, so if you are looking for shiny and new, this isn't your place. If you are looking for a unique, rustic, restful place, this is it. I wish we could have stayed longer. If you go, you must have dinner in their restaurant; their food is perfection!

Exzellentes Olivenöl! Passendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ohne Fahrzeug ist das Anwesen nicht zu erreichen, belohnt wird man mit einem sensationellen Ausblick und viel Ruhe! Volle Empfehlung!
