Excellently placed for visiting Assisi and the staff were wonderful and very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was there was no restaurant on site although I knew this in advance it would have improved my rating for the hotel.

This hotel was just outside one of the gates of old Assisi. It was also right next to a bus stop. We had no need to rent a car. after we got off the train, we just took the city bus up the hill to the hotel. Assisi is such a walkable city! The breakfast offered every morning was amazing! The front desk staff were fantastic… So helpful!

The hotel is well located, the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was good, and the reception staff was friendly. Perfect for a short stay to visit the beautiful area of Assisi.

Hotel Porta Nuovo Assisi
- Great location
- So close to bus stop
- Breakfast was good, lots of choices
- We left early and they gave us a grab bag/breakfast, waiting for us by the front, what was inside was surprisingly good.
- Staff is very nice
- Room was nice and clean
- Has fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker
- There is a grocery store near by.
- Wifi has good signal
