"There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. "Lovely comfortable cottage with a fabulous view from the lounge balcony with afternoon and evening sun. No personal touch or welcome gift. Front yard full of weeds and plants blocking light into two snug windows. Would have been nice to use that space for a seat outside in the morning sunshine as the kitchen is perfectly placed through the front door. Locals lovely. Lots of pubs and shops. Great places to explore in the area."

"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable. People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem. If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "

"Old apartment block but internal of the unit was alright. Good location, close to Sainsbury’s and a few restaurants, some better ones need to book in advance though. There were towels and games and WiFi was steady. However, kettle was black inside, no toilet rolls, some plastic cups with white marks and management company was closed after keys picking. "The apartment we stayed in was beautiful. We loved the decor and the apartment was so clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Onsite parking was a big bonus. It was a short walk to Bowness pier with plenty of shops and places to eat on the way. Excellent communication with the host. We would certainly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be returning.
