The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. We only stayed one night and had no complaints except that the bell tower was ringing once every hour through the night. Seems like this is not normal and due to some renovations happening.
Overall, the hotel is very close to the waterfront, many restaurants and the views are beautiful.

Very scenic location and view from room but late night bar noise and early morning cleaning crew activity made for a less than ideal stay.

Great Location
Posted 2 Aug 2023 on HotelsHad a good experience at the hotel. Very good location renting to the pedestrian street in front of the lake. Lobby is small and uninviting but the room was spacious and clean. Great view of the lake.

Posted 12 Jul 2023 on HotelsThe room was large with a beautiful biew over Lake Maggiore. Plenty of eateries around (expensive) COOP 8 min walk away near the bus stop. Ferry stop nearby.
The room was hot even with the window open and fan on at night but with temp at 30C+ not unbearable.

A weekend in the middle of lively Ascona
Posted 21 May 2023 on HotelsAmazing location directly on the Lake Promenade of Ascona with a lot of live music, restaurants, shops, always worth a visit Ascona. The hotel room was exceptionally clean and spacious, great terrace with an eating corner and sun beds, full of plants. The hotel service is extremely friendly and efficient, great breakfast. The only reason why we have not give an excellent ratings was over bed, very old and uncomfortable

Restaurant was closed, we were not warned
Posted 2 Apr 2021 on HotelsVery nice hotel with central location right at the lido; you should definitely take a room with balcony/terrace and seaview - fantastic.
We were looking for a nice evening in the hotel restaurant, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed (Mon-Thurs) and the hotel nor hotels.com mentioned this; no remark on the website either....
