"The hosts were amazing and friendly. Language was a bit of a barrier but the staff had good grasp of English to have engaging conversations. They were also very accomodating to our needs as well. The rooftop view of the Pyramids is one of the highlights. And the Pyramids are a walking distance too from the lodge if you are into that kind of thing. Otherwise you can get one of the horse drawn carriages Pharaoh style to get there. All in all, solid 5 stars"

"On arriving at the airport for our free hotel transfer we were advised they had moved us to a completely different hotel with no pool. On complaining, they moved us to another with a pool. We were told by the agent the hotel we booked had smelly rooms. This all created unnecessary stress and a large amount of distrust. Very poor experience for our first hour in Egypt. "

"The experience started on a sour note when we faced issues locating the apartment, following the directions provided by the booking platform Hotels.com.We waited for an hour at the given location, attempting to contact the manager,Yousuf, who finally admitted we were in the wrong place.The subsequent address he provided was in a corroded area of Maadi, and despite our insistence, he claimed this was the correct location for Lily Apartments. "We needed a space near us for friends to stay. The apartment was well located, large, well supplied and served all our needs perfectly. Plenty of storage if traveling with lots of luggage. Has an elevator. Everything was very comfortable and everything worked. There is a small grocer just a few doors down. Youssef took good care of us. We would highly recommend. 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so it worked well for many different set ups. "

Beautiful hotel with amazing view of the Nile

"Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Its currently being rebranded to the Hilton. All the staff were very pleasant esp. the breakfast staff. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Big variety of dishes. Our room was on the 34th floor overlooking the Nile and could see the pyramids from our balcony. An overall pleasant stay."

"The view of the Pyramids from this property was fantastic. The staff was great! We really enjoyed the rooftop view that allowed us to see the pyramids. However, the area was not great. Each day you exit the building there are a multitude of people including children begging you for money. They follow you the while you’re walking the entire time. It really feels like harassment. A group of people got into a fight and we saw it from our room. "
