"The location was great. No more than a 20 minute walk to shopping and food. There was bus stop right outside and the train was a short walk. We took an Uber everywhere but the option of public transportation was easily available. The property itself was clean and nicely decorated. Access was simple and straight forward. The property manager communicated well and responded to questions in a timely manner. I would stay there again. "

"This is just the perfect location with everything you need inside the apartment and then outside your doorstep as well!"

"The bedroom looked nice and was clean but noisy after midnight on Saturday due to discussions in the street downstairs. The bathroom is problematic since it was very smelly due to the toilet drain issue. The shower did not drain either and the shower glass door looked dangerous since it was dropped out of line. "

"We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon. Here’s when the service was exceptional. Front desk was friendly; offered us breakfast at 10 euros and a 30% restaurant discount. The bell boy took our luggage up, explained the various room switches, offered to get us extra coffee/tea/water. The room was large and airy, the furnishings new and the bed most comfortable. We would stay again in Lumen. "

"Perfect stay. Lovely pool, open 24/7! We didn’t have breakfast included, but I am sure it was nice as well. Quirky rooms, but we like it. 2 Glass tube cabins as a toilet and shower, lamps in a shape of big flowers. Not so far away from main tourist attractions, in a nice area with few fast food joints and restaurants near by. The receptionist, I think his name starts with J and was working late evening when we checked was excellent! "

"Stayed here Nov 2024 for 11 days and we were surprised at the quality for the price you pay. It’s the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Europe for the price range. Friendly staff, very clean and a corky fun and cute hotel. It felt like a 5 star hotel. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Lisbon. Thanks Upon Angels. "
