This accommodation should not be utilized by persons allergic to dogs or scent. Has two large dogs and heavily scents the entire property with scent infused oil. I do not have allergies but can not tolerate heavy scents.
Natalie is very good at recommending good local restaurants.

What could I answer to someone who broke the tv plug but forgot to mention it, and left the light all day when the room was empty, left the charger I let her have during her stay on the floor and did never say hello in the morning…no comment

Nathalie was a great host, the room was beautiful, the food delicious. It was perfectly located to be able to walk to restaurants and the sights in Arles.

The host was the most disagreeable person I've probably every met. She insulted me multiple times in front of other guests and her friend...she just treated me like crap. I will request a partial refund. Furthermore the place stank so badly of all sorts of smells but mostly gallons and gallons of horrible overpowering heavy perfume that was an assault on the senses.

Dear James, I am really surprised by this terrible comment. Sorry you had a horrific stay with us. You had trouble getting to my parking and I tried to help over the phone. I gave you my advice for dinner and booked you a nice restaurant that you told me you really enjoyed and you thanked me.You missed our breakfast and said you didn’t know it was included. Regarding the ambient perfume, sorry it bothered you so much, most of our guests appreciate it.I hope you had a better experience on your next destination.Enjoy the rest of your travel.

Everything about Maison Douce is excellent!
Owner Nathalie treats you as a personal house guest, doing her best to see you have a great time in Arles.
Maison Douce is an old house with very modern stylish internal fittings: the rooms are comfortable, spacious and quiet. Some brighter reading lights would be welcome!
Continental breakfast sets you up for the day : we enjoyed the friendliness of the indoor communal seating and there is an outside terrace ,too, for warmer days.
Maison Douce is perfectly placed for the old town and is on key bus routes.
We would happily stay again : this is a real home from home.

A gem of an Inn in the heart of Arles.
Posted 7 Nov 2023 on HotelsWe booked this lovely Inn prior to departing on our River Cruise out of Arles. Nathalie is the owner and a very gracious and accomodating hostess. She speaks 5 languages fluently and goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable. Her breakfast was amazing, full of fresh baked breads, fresh fruit, fresh juices, crepes, eggs, meats and cheeses. We will stay there again if we ever find ourselves in Arles

We had a wonderful stay here, great location with all of the old town available within 15 mins walk. Rooms are spacious, traditional and clean, and Nathalie was a fantastic host, very helpful with advice on what to do and provided a lovely continental breakfast. Highly recommended!
