Good modern room and excellent food
Posted 14 Jun 2016 on HotelsSituated in the small village of Albaron this is both a small hotel and a restaurant and is good at both. Ideally situated on the edge of the Camargue the rooms are vey modern with all you could ask for in a small hotel.
On top of that the food in the restaurant was excellent with a decent choice especially if you like seafood and it was good value.

Perfectly lovely spot
Posted 28 Jul 2014 on HotelsWe were desperate for a room late at night and were completely pleasantly surprised by finding Le Flamant Rose. It has lots of character and the room we stayed in was impeccably clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous. We would recommend it highly.

A quiet hotel in the Camargue

Pros: A quiet place in the Camargue, also near Arles.
Cons: The isolation: no commerce within Albaron except for another hotel with restaurant and gas station.
Location: Easy to find, but a car is essential.
The room was comfortable; only one problem was the chemical smell emanating from the bathroom, which has what appears to be a vacuum sump for flushing the toilet.
The hotel is closed on Wednesdays!!! When I arrived, there was a note on the door that asked me to phone a given number for assistance. I did not have a phone with me, so I had to ask someone working on repairs at a neighbouring school to phone for me. The lady in charge then came promptly, but did not seem to think there was anything unusual.
The staff was reasonably pleasant. Breakfasts at 7 euros were good.
There was a gated parking area, closed at night with coded access.
