Great location a little run down
Posted 10 Sep 2022 on HotelsThe Hotel Lady on Reception is amazing and very helpful. The Breakfast is OK. However the hotel due to proximity of location to shops and Restaurants is a little noisy. There was no hot water to speak of. When we arrived our bed was broken but they did fix it.

Should have more than two stars!
Posted 2 Jun 2022 on HotelsWe needed a hotel for just one night in Argeles-sur-mer while we waited for the previous guests to vacate our apartment. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. It was clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good value for money. The air conditioning was very effective and quite. The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. There is no on site parking, but the public car park is opposite the hotel and was free when we visited at the end of May. Knowing Argeles well, I could imagine parking could become an issue in high season and would no longer be free, but that is true everywhere in the very popular resort. This hotel is listed as ** but I have stayed in far worse **** hotels in France. It is under rated and should be a minimum of ***. Very good value for money and is now our hotel of choice for Argeles-sur-Mer, should we ever need one again.

Dated Smokey and mouldy
Posted 1 Jan 2020 on HotelsFor a non smoking hotel, it was full of stale smoke. So thry allow smoking on balconies, which f the don't close the balcony door gets blown into the hotel. Smoke detectors in the rooms would stop this after a few evacuations. No smike detectors anywhere!
There are no kettles in the tooms and the heating during winter is dire.
Staff helpful, but a bit powerless.
The rooms during winter are mouldy, particularly around tge bakcojy windows, and in the bathrooms.

It is right that some clients are indelicate with the fact of not smoking in the rooms, and we are sorry that this happens. We do follow the rules and there are smoke detectors in all the hotel, maybe you meant in the rooms? Not all the hotels offer kettles in their rooms and I think we tried our best by changing you 4 times because you were unhappy with the rooms... The hotel just wasn't convenient to you...

Conned and cheated and treated like trash.
Posted 27 Aug 2019 on HotelsCon Men, cheats, thieves... I booked this hotel as in the description it stated that children could stay free in an adults bed. As I was only staying for 1 night, arriving late and leaving early and it was expensive I went for this option. Upon arrival the receptionist immediately saw an opportunity to charge me for an extra bed and made me feel cheap and embarrassed me in front of my party and other guests staying at the hotel. I explained the terms of the booking and had their terms on my phone. After standing there for approximately 30 minutes, in the reception, with a tired and hungry child having just walked from the train station, while she had a conversation with her superior on the phone they agreed to give me the room at no extra charge but their attitude was that I should be grateful. I was not grateful for receiving what I have already agreed to and paid for. Their excuse was that the website was wrong and they claimed they would update it. Not really my problem is it? Now I come home and I find they have took an extra 21 Euros off my credit card without authority or permission the day I checked out. Do not stay at this place unless you wanted to be treated rudely, embarrassed and have your credit card hacked/used without permission.

Love the location and know the staff after many years. So much to recommend it . Nice balcony. Breakfast terrific. Bed comfortable Wi-fi difficulties a pain though even though I was Icompensated .Attention to detail please.
