My girlfriend and I were there to enjoy a peaceful couple of nights with a comfortable room. The rooms were individual cabins so there were no noisy neighbors. It was very satisfying. The owners were most gracious. We are thinking of moving to Costa Rica. If we did, we would love having them as friends. Maybe even neighbors!

When I saw this property had perfect reviews I was hesitant that they were somehow false. This was not the case! The place is beautiful. The pictures are exactly what you get. Also, the reviews about the staff and breakfast are accurate. They are so nice and breakfast was great!

Hotel Laguna Arenal is a great hotel with spectacular view of the Arenal Lake. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Very highly recommended despite the lack of air conditioning and unpaved uphill road. The view and the serenity ambiance outweighs its cons.
