Ardglass Vacation Rentals

"This was a FABULOUS stop during our around the country tour of Ireland! I HIGHLY recommend using the deep tub and reading a book! I also recommend downloading and using What's App so you can contact the host. We were nervous at first when we couldn't find our previous e-mail on our phones but Phillip sent a second e-mail and then we were gran! The biggest problem was not being able to phone because of the UK's restriction on long distance numbers. (Again, What's App is a great suggestion!) We liked that it has a washer/dryer in one but be prepared for your clothes to be horribly wrinkled afterward. (No fault of the host, just need to be aware.) Also, there are 4 sets of stairs (equivalent to 2 sets in the US) and no elevator/lifts. Again, just so guests are aware if you have heavy bags. There is a lovely cafe on the first floor of the apartment but it does not open before 9am! The hosts left a book of suggestions and once we were able to make contact with one another, the visit was wonderful! I would recommend this apartment to others. Take advantage of the SPAR store down the street and prep breakfast at the apartment. My only feedback for the hosts are a pour over for coffee vs. the coffee pods, and a fresh sponge for cleaning dishes. "

The location, surrounding environment, and the room’s facilities can only be described as excellent and delightful—absolutely fantastic! The hostess, Fiona, and her husband, Perry, are both extremely friendly and warm, making you feel right at home in no time. At dawn, the chirping birds under the giant Scottish pine trees gently wake you from a restful night’s sleep, as the distant mountains emerge from the morning mist. As a traveler, after a refined and delicious breakfast and a cup of hot coffee, what better place could there be to recharge your energy and embrace a new day? Ready for your Tee time. "The Briers is a beautiful property hosted by Darren, a precious man. He asked after our trip, have recommendations based on what we liked, suggested places that he and his family have enjoyed and was a delight to talk to. The room is spacious, the bathroom is out of a magazine, the view is beautiful and the location ideal. It feels like being in a movie set. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area. "
