The rooms were old. They need renovations. We had no shampoo and wash soap in the bathroom. No blow dryer for hair. Lots of kids running around the halls- very loud. At checkout time only one reception working the front desk. Waited in line for 20+ minutes.

Reception was very friendly but when in the Bar Casino we were overlooked by staff who were quite unfriendly, guess it may be due to being the only British people there as all the Spanish were being served first and foremost, we had to approach the staff to ask for drinks. This being the only bar on the complex it wasn't as if we had a choice of places to go. Breakfast buffet was sparse to say the least. The underground spa was a bit spooky when we went as most of the lights were out but overall a good stay, the salt water pool was brilliant.

Me gustó mucho el Balneario de Archena el hotel muy atentos mucha limpieza todo prácticamente a mano piscinas aguas termales pero sí es verdad que hay una cosa que no me ha gustado que en la habitación no tuviéramos un frigorífico pequeño para poder mantener un poco de agua fresca con el calor que hace

Trevlig, serviceinriktad personal. Mycket, mycket lyhörda rum, ganska obekväma sängar. Rymligt rum och fint badrum. Frukostbuffén och middagsbufféen var bedrövliga, under all kritik. Avråder bestämt från att äta på hotellet. Sammantaget fungerar för en övernattning om man äter på annan restaurang. Vi kommer att välja annat hotell vid nästa besök.

Beautiful setting

Cool property. What they don’t tell you on booking is that it is a complex of 3 interrelated properties and they are all quite a distance from the spa facilities. If the one you book is closed or a service is unavailable they will simply move you without asking you. They moved us from a hotel perhaps 250m from the spa complex to one 500m away. Ordinarily no big deal but on a cold winter night having to walk back outside wet from the spa a bigger deal. The gigantic indoor pool was closed (also not advertised) so they “offered” us a pass to their “thermal circuit” which was indoors. We took one look at the tight enclosed hot steamy crowded rooms and maskless guests and went running for the huge outdoor pool. Asked them to comp us something else instead and they refused. The front desk was really invested in arguing that the circuit was perfectly safe. Uh, no. Also, too many kids in the outdoor pool. An adults-only slot would really improve the experience. On the other hand, swimming in a hot thermal pool under a rising full moon in the mountains=magic

Tyvärr skulle hotell Leon stänga dagen efter vår ankomst, så vi fick rum på hotell Levante istället. Helt ok, då de ligger intill varandra. Vår vistelse här på Balnearo de Archena blev lika bra denna gången också. Alltid trevligt, mycket serviceinriktad personal, underbara pooler och termalium med flera olika bastur, saltvattenpool, iglo och utomhuspooler. Bra covid-19 arrangemang överallt. Vi rekommenderar alla en vistelse här!

Una joya desvanecida por el tiempo.

El entorno hace que te sumerjas en otras noches de la historia y te sientas relajado y fuera de toda tu actividad diaria. Para nosotros dar un paseo y tomar un café en el Casino nos ha hecho volver después de un mes, ahora reconozco muchas carencias en la renovación del Hotel León, el cual bajo mi punto de vista necesita una inversión alta para la mejora de sus instalaciones porque es muy bonito y atendiendo por gente muy profesional pero está muy descuidado y antiguo para todo el tránsito personas que nosotros vimos las dos veces que nos alojamos allí.

En general es fantástico, quitando de algún pequeño detalle que se puede mejorar, cómo por ejemplo que el ruido de la máquina sopla hojas se puede hacer mas tarde cuando la gente ya no esté descansando...y en la carta del casino hay mojitos y copas que luego no tienen. Por lo demás está muy bien

Zalig relaxen in de Balneario de Ricote

Het geweldige aan dit hotel is dat je gratis gebruik maakt van het prachtige ‘Balneario de Archena’: je krijgt ook allemaal een witte badjas waar je van het hotel op een paar minuutjes in het badcomplex staat met zwembad, versnellingsbaden, jacuzzi, bubbelbaden en kinderzwembad met glijbaantjes. Ook buiten zijn er verschillende zwembaden in een prachtige tuin met oa palmbomen. Je kijkt uit op de prachtige bergen van de vallei de Ricote met de rivier de Segura.

Beautiful place to stay

Excellent deal including access to the thermal pools. The hotel was gorgeous and clean and even though there were lots of people around it didn't feel crowded.
