"Owner very responsive to any questions within couple hours. Basic housekeeping provided which is nice. Beautiful ocean view over cliff. Walking distance to Kastro. Rocky beach down below. Nice hiking to 2 beautiful panagia monasteries. Definitely need a rental car to go around. "

"The area is hard to get to but the staff is very friendly and helpful. There was no hot water while I stayed there and quite a few ants on the floor but overall ok for the price. I recommend renting a car if you stay here because taxis are expensive "

It also offered no privacy from people walking by in the area. The staff was very attentive and polite. "The host was so friendly and welcoming. He had so many recommendations for food and beaches. The place was the perfect location. A little removed from the downtown area but still walkable to dinner. About a block away was a nice beach for swimming and sunset. Place was very clean with a nice sitting area outside. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We love staying at Kapetan Tasos. Our room was immaculate with incredibly comfortable beds. The showers were strong. The views from the room were lovely and it was a short walk to the beach, to beach bars and to the main town of Pollonia. The light breakfast served every morning was lovely. I would highly recommend."

"The lady who checks you in and runs the place is a saint. She took care of me during a difficult time. She made sure I was safe, helped me book a ferry and taxi to get back to Athens to go home due to a medical and personal emergency. She even made sure I ate and had water. The property is beautiful, right by the water and you can’t ask for a kinder host! Even comes with a bottle of wine. "
