They were SO nice. The service was excellent. We could tell the owners take great pride in providing a good experience. The breakfast was amazing. Very attentive proprietors. We loved it.

Nice little hotel in Aosta close to train and bus stations and the historic center! Big open market outside the hotel in the street the morning we left. The manager was lovely and so helpful. The room was super clean and well appointed. The windows opened which was good because it was hot and there was no A/C.

No airco. Small bathroom. Modern in the seventies.
Good welcome and good breakfast.

Great 3* property in Aosta
Posted 27 Feb 2018 on HotelsJust stayed one night as a stop-over. Have used many other 3* hotels in this town, and this was one of the best.
The lady on reception couldn't be more helpful or friendly and has excellent English.
Large clean comfortable room, all furniture in good condition and electric sockets that run from a standard EU adaptor (most other sockets in the are need a different plug adapator). Brilliant shower, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Bathroom quite small but manageable.
Spacious underground car park.
Its only about 3 min walk from the pedestrianised area of town where most of the historic sites can be found, about 5 min from the railway station, 10-15 from the cable car to Pila.
Didn't eat breakfast (which starts at 08:00) due to an early departure so can't comment there.
BE AWARE: in peak ski weeks this property is used by UK school groups Sun pm - Sat pm (they don't stay Sat night). We stayed on a Saturday so they weren't really there, but given the wooden floors in the property, it may not be suitable if you are noise-sensitive.

Old fashioned but central, pleasant staff
Posted 30 Sep 2017There was a marathon being run in Aosta the next day, town hotels and restaurants rammed. The elderly lady at ( or vaguely near ) reception said we had no booking and turned us away. She did not check her pc nor fax. Headless chicken mode in full-up Aosta for next hour. We'd had confirmation from Expedia about the Roma booking so went back and this time a young woman was at desk and our booking was found. Phew. Uncomfy, old fashioned and rather cold room but comfy bed. No food av that night as group ( marathon ) had taken over dining room. Good breakfast and it's pretty central to interesting historic town
