Nice quiet hotel off the main street
Posted 11 Feb 2018Quaint botique hotel. Loved staying here. It's off the main street so there is no noise from the many vehicles and tuktuks that transport people to and from Ao Nang. You can walk to Ao Nang beach takes about 20 mins or just grab a tuktuk from the main road for $100baht. The main road is about a 5 minute walk to get to and there are 2 convienence stores at your disposal. The staff is very helpful and can book all your tours or transportation for you. Had we not made other arrangements we would of spent our entire 2 weeks there. Can't wait to go back!

Location: Located in a quiet area in Ao Nang, yet still close to central Shopping and Eating area in Aonang. Walking distance to Ao Nang Beach
Pleasant staff, Quiet Area, Ideal location. Near to local food stalls and within walking distance to the beach

Krabi hideaway
Posted 18 May 2017 on HotelsKrabi Apartment Hotel was off the main road, so it was lovely and quiet. Our apartment was very spacious and had all we needed. Satellite smart TV was great for those rainy monsoonal days (or, in the case of himself, the news junkie). Friendly and incredibly polite staff, great dual air-conditioning units, convenient and quick laundry service. We didn't use it because we went to the beach every day, but the plunge pool looked inviting and was always spotlessly clean.
Not super close to Ao Nang Beach but fine for those who don't mind walking (c.15 mins) - tuk-tuks, taxis etc readily available on main road. Short walk (c.5 mins) to 7-Eleven, Family Mart and Aonang Leela Restaurant. Tesco Lotus c.10 mins walk away.
And - we absolutely loved this - daily visits from the ice cream tuk-tuk.

Very nice, clean and fully equipped apartments. The staff is friendly and considerate and the location is convenient. It is located in a quiet area but easy to access. Some nice bars and restaurants are nearby.

Pros: Quiet location. Bright, cheerful rooms. Pleasant staff. Comfortable bed. Very good, free WiFi and large screen TV with excellent range of channels.
Cons: Maybe bottled water could be provided.
Location: If you fancy a change of menu from Thai food, try the Divers Inn for amazing Australian steaks.
The apartments are located in a quiet road at the top end of Au Nang. Its about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre of the resort, though there are many restaurants close by. You can also flag down a tuk-tuk or minibus for the short ride down to the beach.
The apartments are modern, clean, light and airy. Tea, coffee supplies replenished daily, though you need to get your own bottled water from the nearby 7-11. The reception manager, housekeeping staff are all pleasant and helpful.

Pros: Very clean and spacious. Lovely staff and very helpful. Great bed too.
Great value for money. Very well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable place. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Mean I.
