There was urine on the mattress. The shower head wasn’t connected to the shower line, the hot water was turned off and customer service was useless to help. There is a sleeper couch with a mattress that is ripped, dirty, and I guarantee is covered in bed bugs. The floor is dirty and will turn your socks brown. Oh and also the entrance code randomly changes so you may get locked out for a night. Good luck.

Posted 20 Sep 2018 on HotelsThis flat is in an excellent neighborhood. It was very spacious, well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The staff contacted me with all necessary information and even checked in with me to make sure everything was suitable. One of the best places I've stayed in years!

great location and value

Pros: Location & size of property were great
Cons: definitely needs improved cleaning
Location: located directly next to main sightseeing, shopping, cafe's, restaurants & supermarkets
A super location, perfect for exploring and a nice apartment but unfortunately needed a good clean. I would recommend if knowing acceptable cleaning standards were kept. Floors need a good mopping as walking in bare feet resulted in dirty feet & there was an issue with mosquito's. This must have been an ongoing issue and due to poor cleaning I could see squashed bugs on the walls, curtains & the roof & cleaning standards were definitely below the required standard.

Filthy apartment, broken glass/furniture. No help!
Posted 11 Sep 2018 on HotelsThis was by far, the worst experience we have had in any accommodation, anywhere.
Not allocated the apartment we had booked. The one we where given was filthy, with sticky, stained floors. Broken coffee table. Broken glass bottle in fridge. Used eyelashes on windowsill. Shower pan stained. Luke warm water. Blocked sink. The key that should have been in the flat was missing which resulted in being trapped between the apartment and the street as the push button to open the street gate was also broken.
Tried 3 times to ring their emergency number. No reply. Rang Hotels.Com who came back to me saying that Smartflats would contact me directly, they did not. The following day, they sent me a message saying they had been in and fixed all the problems, which they also sent to Hotels.com. When I returned no one had been there at all.
I have since emailed them three times and they just don't answer.
AVOID!

Modern equipped in great location but no air con
Posted 21 Jun 2018 on HotelsGreat location. Modern spacious and well equipped accommodation. Shame there was no outdoor seating. Real downside is a lack of air conditioning. Not particularly hot when we stayed but the Appartment was stifling stuffy and pretty unbearable at night
