"This hotel is perfect for a night or two. We will definitely stay again. No frills but it has everything you want in a room. A comfortable bed, spacious, spotlessly clean, air conditioning. "I booked this property but I was assigned by the front desk to the sister property across the street. Hotel Playa because supposedly it was quieter. El Flamenco seems to attract young, loud, party oriented travelers. This is a family owned group of properties including a restaurant. They seem to save Hotel Playa rooms (about7-8 rooms) for guests’ overflow This review is for Hotel Playa.Both properties are old and very run down. The one thing Hotel Playa has going for it is the location facing...

"Was only one night but would really be good for a family holiday. No comfortable chairs to sit on in either room or balcony but overall satisfied. A bit further Along the sea front than we thought so had to use car to go out. "

"It was in a very good location and close to beach and sea. The grounds were beautifully kept and so was swimming pool. Cannot fault anything. Would highly recommend."

"We had a lovely 1- night half board stay at the Alegria palacio Mojacar. The food exceeded expectations. Staff lovely, drinks prices reasonable. We watched some Flamenco dancing in the hotel bar with a cocktail. Spa quite unique,2 saunas, a steam room and many different jets to discover in the pool €15 each for 90 minutes slot. Only downside is that nothing much else is in walking distance apart from the beach and a small supermarket. "

Aguilas hotel near beach

"Our third stay at this wonderful hotel. Next to the beach and beach walks. Very comfortable and immaculately clean. Rooms very spacious. In quite an agricultural area but near so many lovely towns and cities. Aguilas is a ten minute drive away and has lots of nice bars and restaurants plus a lovely harbour. If you want to eat in, there is a lovely restaurant and terrace overlooking the sea. The best thing actually about this hotel is the delightful staff. "

Perfect stay in this lovely hotel

"Perfect stay in this lovely hotel. Great room with a wonderful and spacious balcony with stunning views. Room was large, clean and well equipped. Very clean room and also the surrounding areas. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. Great location right on the beach and a nice walk along the promenade will take you to some good bars and restaurants. We only stayed B&B and breakfast was superb, it had everything you could possibly want. We would happily stay here again. "

Disappointing

"Done many stays over the years in this area, definitely wouldn’t class as 4 star, very basic, room was riddled with ants, even in the bed, and later discovered hundreds in my handbag as it was left on the floor at the side of the bed, lady on reception didn’t even apologise for this. Very disappointed 😞 "
