I enjoyed my stay although I did not appreciate trying to be charged extra for the fruit which was offered at the breakfast. I was told the breakfast was free and was included with my room charge.

Pros: Restaurant
Cons: Hot water supply
Hotel with restaurant in the 9th floor. Rooms are quit good, signle rooms are very small. Double rooms are big enough for pair or family.

Algerian standard 3-4, International standard 3
Posted 25 Sep 2015 on HotelsHow do you measure this hotel, against others in Algeria or international standards? If we take The Majestic in Annaba as an Algeria hotel is not a bad hotel 3-4*. I got upgraded to a bigger room. Aircon. But what happened to the internet, I was almost out of touch other than the phone for almost 3 days. Not good for business. Breakfast; hope you like pastries, little else and boiled egg on the side. Restaurant on the 9th floor, great view, a bit expensive for what you get. Great Waiter.
International rating, would be a 3 star.
Staff friendly and tried to be helpful, but created more problems. My real tip of the day, if you find a good taxi driver, tip him well get his number and use him.

Good Hotel with Disappointed Staff

Pros: Hotel environment and location is excellent and I really like the parking area for the car.
Cons: The housekeeper service of this hotel is awful. They should do something about it! How the recpetion didn't know the room wasn't clean? inadmissible!

I really like the hotel. However, when I arrived Mr. Hassan at the reception completely ignore me. I booked two rooms one for me and other for my translator but just one room was reserved. I showed him the Expedia reservation for two rooms and he told me his hotel has nothing to do with Expedia and he said his hotel just honor reservation from ACC (Algeria Conseil Center). At the beginning he ignore me completely just talking to my translator but when I spoke English he understood everything perfectly. Soon I discovered he was able to speak English. Bottom line, I have to pay for the second room and felt very discriminated by Mr. Hassan just because I do not speak French.
When we opened the room we could see a awful housekeeper service. The room doesn't have towels and when I requested, just one came, even they knowing that I have my wife. The room of my translator when he opened, the housekeeper forgot to clean the room from the night before. They have to give him another room much small than the other one. Good hotel, good location but Mr. Hassan and the housekeeper team need to improve a lot to work in a hotel like that.
Next morning Mr. Hassam has gone and the new team of the reception was super. Very professional Mr. Mourad make me fell important for the hotel. I would want to pay by credit card by the line was off and he handle the situation excellent solving my problem. I will return this hotel definitely for the treatment that Mr. Mourad gave me in the next morning!

Majestic Hotel did not reflect my expectation
Posted 1 Dec 2014 on HotelsFirstly the reception was not aware of how I booked a room through "hotels.com" when I made check out they told me that I had to stay one more night (in total 3 nights)I said I changed my first booking which was for 3 nghts,but the final booking was for 2 nights.I stayed for 2 nights actually. But will check from my credit card whether you charged 2 nights., not 3 nights... This means your agent in Algeria made the hotel to misunderstand! the hotel room was dirty and needs cleaning for dust especally I warned the reception to clean all the dust on the surfcaes of things in the room. Breakfast was also very poor and staff can not service properly.

EVITEZ AU MAXIMUM !!
une pourriture de bâtiment de 1967 non rénové !
Les chambres : des tâches partout , la literie sale , les sanitaires avec des poils partout , le mobilier en bois tout moisi de 1987 !!
Pas d ascenseur pour aller au parking niveau -2 donc porter les valises laisse tomber ...
Les portes s ouvrent et se ferment mal , logique vu les clés on dirait des clé du 12 ème siècle en bronze ou je ne sais quoi .
La clim non réglable et bloquée par l hôtel ...
Pour couronner le tout il n' y a pas de service a part le gars a l accueil ..
