If you stay here, DO NOT stay in any of the rooms or suites surrounding the pool area. Extremely noisy and there are zero quiet hours. Last night of stay, pool maintenance people carrying on till 2AM without consideration for guests. Hotel staff non responsive after around 11.

This is an aging property from a time when cavernous indoor spaces could be heated. I can't imagine what their energy bill is when it's -10F as it was when I stayed there. The place is a little beat up, but was perfectly adequate for my purposes, and the staff was very friendly and competent. I was able to walk to a variety of very good restaurants. Rooms on the north side have quite a bit of traffic noise from I-94; rooms on the south side were very quiet.

Checked in at 5pm . I was notified upon arriving there is no bar or dinner services available. Checked in room, dirty bathroom, and floor. Was told no manager on duity. We still tried to make the best of things. Went to use pool and hot tub. Bottom of pool apeared very dirty so we tried the hot tub woorlpool. Was not hot ,and water jets did not work. We got rt out. Pulled down sheets and they were dirty as well. That was it. We checked rt out and went to another hotel. To me it was very unprofessional to not inform guests who booked a week ago to let us know about the bar- restaurant being closed and to put us in a dirty room with a dirty pool and a hot tub that dont work...plus we paid for a patio room. The paito is not outside its inside . I think this hotel truly should let customers know this before hand. Total waste of money.

The staff are very nice and helpful. The front desk gentlemen was so helpful at check in. The hotel is a bit older, has a few maintenance issues but the most important thing is its very clean and comfortable beds and pillows. I have stayed a few times when I travel to Ann Arbor for work. The price was decent.

I travel for work and this was my 2nd stay at this hotel for several days. The housekeeping is very good. The beds, pillows and sheets were very comfortable. It is an older hotel but the maintenance is responsive with repairs requests. The breakfast has fresh fruit and eggs, which I like. I was the most pleased with the housekeeping. They really do a good job and i appreciate clean bedding.

As stated in previous post about loud door slamming, if you stay in rooms 100-110 the entry door to outside slams shut and you can hear it clear as day in your room. Seems to be a door that is used a lot. Shower also was plugged and drained slow so it held water making the shower area wet since it is a walk in shower. Toilet height is high so if you’re not 6 ft your feet will not tough the floor when sitting. Room wasn’t real clean dust on curtains and walls floor was dirty making the bottom of feet black. The lobby area and outside are very nice and appear clean.

I stayed at this hotel during a recent appointment at the University of Michigan Hospital . As well as a very nice place to stay it was a very convenient place to stay. Staff is very nice as were the surroundings and the room! Getting ready to book another stay during another visit to the University of Michigan Hospital.

This hotel was immaculate and incredibly comfortable. The bed was great and the shower was hot and powerful pressure. The amenities were also very nice. The staff was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was hot and delicious with more options than at most hotels. We felt very safe as well and look forward to a return visit.
