it’s in a great area of the city if you are looking for night life, cafes, restaurants, bars
it was confusing how to get in and utilize the parking (tag, which didn’t work)
i called ahead to ask about procedure to get in, but was told it would all be made clear one hour before check in.
it wasn’t
it wasn’t clear that you don’t necessarily need wifi connection through the app in order to unlock the door to the room, and it wasn’t clear that you need to input the security code to lock the door after you leave; in fact it seems you only need to press one number in order for the room door to lock.
in other words, it was an experience of trial and error how to use the system, with not a small dose of frustration
the parking tag didn’t work and it was a series of unfortunate steps to get it reset and even then the guy had to reset it 3 times before it worked
it seemed like a lot of unnecessary steps in order to make the system work
i’m sure it was set up to be convenient, but it wasn’t
the good thing was that we loved the view from the room, the room was very spacious and well designed, the decor was great with plenty of amenities and it was a nice touch to have doughnuts and juice out in the lobby on one of the mornings we were there
it’s not quiet (because the activity in the street)
and the light was coming into the room, ie, the shades are not blackout shades
the towels were not quite dried
all told, it was a lovely stay in a beautiful suite

Great location for walking around Ann Arbour, clean and spacious. Parking garage was a bit scary with homeless men sleeping in.
